About two years ago my wife and I started looking for a new home in Mooresville where we were currently residing. Judy met Connie Hughes and gave her a list of criteria for our next home. Connie emailed us numerous homes for our review during the next 2 years, never pressured us nor lost interest in us as clients. Judy looked at many of the homes Connie served up but we didn't connect with one until earlier this year. Home Run! That's when the value of an agent really came into play for us. Connie knows her market and knew the new home we were looking at would not be on the market long. In addition she had a great deal of confidence to market and sell our current home in a timely manner. After much prayer (some with Connie), Judy and I put our confidence in Connie. I thought I was a nut when it came to our attention to detail, Connie is the best. Her follow through took us to closing on the new home while she started the process to sell our old house. I'd like to say the road to selling our house was smooth, but it wasn't. Whatever we needed Connie provided including the willingness to try out some of my marketing ideas. For awhile I thought Connie and I were talking more than I was to my wife. After about 6-8 weeks on the market our house sold just as Connie said it would. That would have been a great ending to this story, but 4 days before settlement the bottom fell out of the lending market and the lender pulled our buyer's loan. Connie was there for us. My attorney told me to "lick my wounds and re-list the house. He also told me I had one of the best agents in the area and to continue to have confidence, she would get the job done." She did and on August 30th we completed the transaction for the sale of our old house thanks to Connie.
What's the value of an agent? They set realistic expectations, follow up on every detail, negotiate for your best interest, hold your hand through the tough times, and celebrate with you in the good ones. If you're lucky as we are, they become your friend for life!

We first met Connie in June of 2008. We were searching for a home in Mooresville and one we were interested in seeing happened to be a Keller Williams listing. When we contacted her as the listing agent we were able to view the property within hours. After sitting down with her and going over our list of wants and needs Connie set us up with a constant flow of listings to view in the privacy of our home on our computer.
While perusing these listings one happened to really catch our eye. We had an out of town relative who was contemplating relocating from Florida and Connie was assisting her with showings. While looking at homes for my cousin I happened to mention to Connie that one of the e-mailed listings caught our eye. Within minutes she was contacting the listing agent and within an hour we were able to view this property which eventually became our home.
Having relocated from the North we eventually moved back to New York in July of 2010. Again Connie was there to assist us in the selling of our home.
